How Click & Collect Will Affect Future Shopping

Click & Collect will inevitably play a role in the future of shopping but there are still a few challenges to solve to make this practice more shopper-centric.

    • Globally, only 37% of retailers offer click-and-collect services. In the U.S. this falls to 29%.
    • Only 20% of global retailers promise that an order will be ready for pickup within a four-hour window. More than ⅓ are content to claim orders will be ready in a full 24 hours or occasionally even days later.
    • 30%+ of retailers that fail to offer accurate, real-time inventory visibility for all parties are limiting the impact and functionality of most other parts of their business.
    • Slightly over 40% of multichannel retailers don’t allow customers the chance to return online orders in stores
